for challenging Mints' claim that no one had seen Bush on the base, saying there "was a witness" (Calhoun) who had seen him.
I vaguely remember this 'witness' being discredited awhile back, but then a CNN anchor's assertion that there was a witness seems to rehabilitate Calhoun.

|
in some ways? I recall reading about him but he didn't seem credible at all...

4. From "Deserter" by Ian Williams |
|
"Calhoun, a self-confessed "staunch Republican" also managed to see Bush on duty with the 187th variously "at least six" or "eight to ten times" between May and October - before he applied for duty there on September 15th."
This book is $10.00 at Amazon - everyone should go buy it.
Also a group offered $3500.00 to anyone at Dannelly who remembers seeing Bush there. No one including Calhoun has collected.
