DAMN cable company knocked off CBS as the interview was ready to start!
I live in Pa and have Adelphia cable. Just as Dan rather was ready to start the interview CBS and CBS only was knocked off line. This is a set up, no other reason for this to have happened!

1. Cable Out
I know I'm so very new to DU, but I have to respond to your thread...
I live in Wilmington, NC and several times the barnes interview
went black. The first time it was CBS only, the second time it seemed
to be all local stations. My roomate and I blamed it on our "luck"
and the windy condtion....though I find it too odd that you had
the same experience in PA....

9. It was rainy
nothing bad at all. Every other local channel was fine. There were no signs of the channel fading in or out. All other 75 channels I have worked great. I hardly ever, I mean hardly ever have probs with my cable. It was as if someone thru the switch at the right time!

7. No Storm in my area...
Edited on Wed Sep-08-04 07:48 PM by kamerson
I've never experienced this problem before with cable lines here in
Wilmington...I checked out the weather map, but I live in Southeastern NC. No rain here, but I live on the coast, where at
times it becomes very windy....never a black out through cable
however until this evening. I still find it interesting.
By the way, what was running in Baton Rouge?

8. When we had Time Warner cable, there was audio interference.....
at strategic times. We have Bright House now, and we have not noticed any of it. Whenever something anti-Bush came up, there would muffled sound or one night even a screeching sound.

13. Interesting! I had problems with my DirectTV during interview!
Towards the middle of the interview with Barnes my satellite picture went nuts. It was impossible to hear them. Funny thing is no bad weather in the area or anything. Picture was fine the rest of the night. Interesting indeed!
