Win popular vote/lose electoral |
|
This is entirely possible! Obama racks up huge majorities in big red states (CA, NY) and wins 3-5 million more total popular votes than McCain. But...McCain is within the margin of error in the tossup states, a lot of which Obama did not perform as well as the polls said he would in the primaries. McCain could win the electoral vote; not probable, but possible. In other words another 2000.
What happens to this country then? I don't think we could take this again.

Yes, the truth hurts and its best just to not think about bad things!?!? Same as it ever was, aka 2000 - 2004.

3. Oh, it would be alright |

The madmen would remain in charge and we shrinking liberals will make a bunch of good excuses for the loss just like before.... so, nothing will have changed, because most Amerigos didn't want change.
As for me? Another 6 months of depression, maybe.
