It will be good to be done with McCain and his phony folksiness
"McCain has more than cashed in on his Vietnam wartime experience - whether it be the nubile wife, the homes, the Senate seat, and his ‘gravitas,’ and probably even his nomination."

Especially coming off the 2004 election, when a genuine wartime combatant -- John Kerry -- was slimed for his service and heroism by the right wing.

2. Yes, it's just a verbal quirk, but boy is it irritating
There's just so much phoniness about McCain. The way he gives that "thumbs up" thing he does. His fright mask smile. He looks like some kind of gargoyle.

And then he parades poor Cindy around the country, always in the television shot just over his shoulder.

It's all so contrived.
