7. Very good, Obama has an excellent GOTV operation here

I've been voting at the same place for 6 years now, and every time I'm always one of the first people in and I get in right away. I showed up right as it opened and had to wait in line for almost 30 minutes. Lots of younger voters. Seemed to be a pro-Obama crowed too. I heard a few people joking around about Joe The Plumber etc. I think Obama has a shot here in AZ.

I'm so, so, so hoping to see Saban defeat Arpaio. I don't think it can happen but if Obama has a really good showing, maybe--just maybe!

Keep your fingers crossed for the most critical Phoenix area race there is (among many, many!)

BTW, I'm going to be moving to Germany next year--would love to meet some of my fellow AZ DUers before we go--and of course I'd like to meet my first primary choice... ;)

9. I think if Obama gets some of the early states called for him

Like North Carolina and Virginia, it might effect the Arizona race. McCain supporters might be demoralized and not show up. Or maybe Obama's will think they have it in the bag and not show up, not sure. But if the first one happens, it's gotta be good for Saban.

I might be moving to Montana very soon, not sure yet. I'll let you know, maybe we can all have a meetup. And glad I was your first choice! lol. I actually still might win this thing.
