Reach out ??
Palin the vile, hateful, racist, fear monger? FU Palin.

You no longer have a VOICE, and if the great people of Alaska were to tally up the damage your big fat lying mouth has done to their beautiful state, they would kick your sorry AIP treasonous behind out of their government.

Your legal troubles are only beginning, Palin.
You've had nothing but hatred towards President Obama. Now you want his hand to extend to yours? If it happens Mrs. Palin, it will be because President Barack Obama is a far greater person then you.

Please, Mrs. Palin, I'm quite sure Pres Obama needs absolutely nothing you have to offer.

Edited on Wed Nov-05-08 01:52 PM by orestes
other than fawning over her. These people are on the verge of re electing a convicted felon to Senate, so I think you're vastly overestimating them.

No offense to the progressive Alaskans here, but a not insignificant number of your fellow citizens appear to be gianormous fucking morons, moreso than the national average

7. She was DIRECTLY Responsible For A Higher THREAT LEVEL Against Barack's Life
What makes her think Barack will give her the time of day?

Yeah, I know. Barack is a wonderful human being. I'm sure she'll get an earful about the threats, though.

Seriously, Sarah, you are irrelevant.

And, I can't stress this enough, Sarah, Obama's victory is NOT. ABOUT. YOU. (Even though you might have helped a little in bringing it about.)

Please go away. I don't want to hear from you until your failed effort to win the Repub nomination in 2012. And then only to laugh at you.

18. Sarah was actually a fan of Obama's before McCain
picked her. A piece in the New Yorker in mid-August quoted her as saying that she wouldn't mind if Alaska went for Obama and that she had a lot of respect for him.

I can't find the original story, but here's a quote from it... "Before she was running against him, Sarah Palin—the governor of Alaska and now the Republican candidate for Vice-President of the United States—thought it was pretty neat that Barack Obama was edging ahead of John McCain in her usually solidly red state. After all, she said, Obama’s campaign was using the same sort of language that she had in her gubernatorial race. “The theme of our campaign was ‘new energy,’ ” she said recently. “It was no more status quo, no more politics as usual, it was all about change. So then to see that Obama—literally, part of his campaign uses those themes, even, new energy, change, all that, I think, O.K., well, we were a little bit ahead on that.” She also noted, “Something’s kind of changing here in Alaska, too, for being such a red state on the Presidential level. Obama’s doing just fine in polls up here, which is kind of wigging people out, because they’re saying, ‘This hasn’t happened for decades that in polls the D’ ”—the Democratic candidate—“ ‘is doing just fine.’ To me, that’s indicative, too. It’s the no-more-status-quo, it’s change.”

My guess is that Ms. Palin will return to Alaska, try to mend fences with all of her former allies whom she alienated during the campaign, and will place the blame on McCain for forcing her to be the "pit bull" in this election. I'm not so sure how well that will go over, but I'm sure that's what she's going to try.

The basis for her very high popularity rating here before McCain picked her was the fact that she worked well with the Democrats in the legislature and kept partisanship out of it. She had kept her extreme right social views to herself pretty much, at least as governor, and was just trying to get things done -- raise the tax rate on the oil companies and get a natural gas pipeline built (which Obama supports, by the way).

I think she's got an uphill fight to convince the Democrats here, who the McCain campaign trashed relentlessly during the campaign, but I'm sure she'll try.

19. Uphill fight?
I'd call it an insurmountable wall. One that she put up.

She can only change her colors so many times before thinking people recognize her as a reptile. "All things to everyone."

She had us fooled for a while, but thanks to John McCain, the veil has been lifted. I guess we owe him a debt of gratitude for that. :)

29. They should run this by Michelle and see what she thinks...
this fascist nincompoop put the life of Michelle Obama's husband in danger, as well as her own life and the lives of her daughters. Sarah Palin does not deserve to speak to the President-elect.

Is Palin beyond redemption? Of course not. She can, if she wants, retrace her steps in the campaign and apologize at every stop for the damage she did to her country.
