until bush handed this over to his horse friend. I know that DHS was manufactured by bush, and I really think nothing has been been made safer.

When it was its own agency, didn't get lost in the homeland power struggles.

It needs to be an independent agency and it needs to be lead by actual experts in the field, not political hacks that have no clue.
