Someone tossed a wrench in the GOP's plan

Basically, I think the plan was to get McCain and Palin elected no matter what it took to drag them across the finish line, then conveniently have McCain leave office sometime before the 2012 elections and have Palin all propped up as the incumbent president. Running her that way would have given her a big advantage. McCain at one point indicated he might serve only one term.

But wouldn't you know, a tall lanky kid from the streets of Chicago came along messed up their carefully planned scheme.

Sometimes things just don't go as planned, do they GOP? And thank goodness for that.

Go get 'em, President-elect Barack Obama!
