Looking at the Coleman / Franken race...
Isn't 15% unusual for a third party candidate?

Coleman(Incumbent) 1,211,644 42%
Franken 1,211,167 42%
Barkley 437,382 15%

6. 477 votes is .01% of the electorate and is *well* within the margin of error
A difference that small should trigger an automatic recount.

9. Dean Barkley was Ventura's campaign manager and staffer:

A founder and chair of the Minnesota Reform Party (the predecessor of the Independence Party), he chaired Jesse Ventura's successful 1998 gubernatorial campaign; Ventura subsequently appointed him director of the state's Office of Strategic and Long Range Planning and briefly, as a member of the United States Senate following the death of Senator Paul Wellstone.
