I am disgusted!!!

With Obama winning the presidency on Tuesday ?? No with that I am overjoyed! What I am disgusted with is that Bush will get away with it.. He will get away with Iraq! He will leave the White House on January 20th and wash his hands with the mess he made in Iraq like Pontius Pilate.

Over the next 1-2 years Obama will withdraw most of our combat forces from Iraq. This is good.. I do not want to see 1 more of our brave soldiers getting killed or wounded over there for nothing. BUT once a critical mass of troops is withdrawn events in Iraq will happen on their own and I see it going 1 of two ways:

1) The forces over there will go back to trying the settle there difference the way they have tried for thousands of years.. Chaos will descend with blood being spilled on an almost daily basis with the 3 forces ( Shitties, Sunnis, and Kurds) battling to sort out a way to live with each other. Obama will get blamed for pulling out our troops too fast. NOT Bush for putting them in there in the first place. The right wing sound machine will scream it.. and the MSM will turn to the sheep’s they are and let them! This will imperil Obama’s re-election or hamstring his ability to get stuff done.

2) Things will remain quite and go kind of ok with the Iraqi government muddling along. Not much violence. People will then hail Bush’s Iraq policy a stunning success and that he was right all along.. when in reality all he did was speed up a clock that would have gotten Iraq to this place a bit faster than it could have gotten on its own. This speeding up of the clock for Iraq was NOT why we went into the war and would NOT be worth the loss of over 4100 American dead, 10,000+ Americans with missing body parts, 100,000+ Iraqi’s dead and spending of 100;s of billions of dollars!!

Yet I do not think it is worth the time and money to try and pursue Bush or his crony’s with investigations.. wasting MORE time and resources due to these A**HOLES! Better to spend that time and resources on getting this country back to where it was on January 19th 2001 and letting history deal with them.. Soooooooo they end up getting away with it and THAT is why I am disgusted!!!
