Casting Call for "Pitbull with Lipstick: The Sarah Palin Story."
The rise and fall of Sarah Palin needs to be turned into a movie. Who should be cast to play the key actors? Let's rule out Tina Fey for Palin, especially since we'll want a serious actor to portray Palin's "diva-mommy dearest" behind the scene moments.

My choice for Sarah Palin - Sandra Bullock. A dead ringer for Palin, and has acting chops to be frivolous and serious.

Others:

Todd Palin - Colin Farrell
John McCain - Richard Dreyfuss
Cindy McCain - Goldie Hawn
Bristol Palin - Miley Cyrus
Nicole Wallace - Laura Linney
Randy Schneummann - Randy Quaid
Steve Schmidt - Bruce Willis
Rick Davis - Gary Sinise

8. Oh, the inconceivable guy! Why didn't you just say that?
He's too old for Schmidt. On the other hand, he'd be a decent John McCain.

7. Nice casting! Who else might be good in the role of Sarah?
I would suggest Meryl Streep. Bullock would always appear to be acting.

Other ideas...

10. I don't like most of those picks in the telegraph article.
Meryl Streep is an interesting pick.

another possibility - Kate Winslet. She's a bit younger than Palin, but she could pull it off. I wonder, though, if she could do stupid and frivolous really well.

14. Poor Richard Dreyfuss!
He's such a good liberal, and he always gets stuck playing the evil conservative:

* Dick Cheney in W
* Al Haig in The Day Reagan Was Shot
* Bob Rumson in The American President
* William Tecumseh Sherman in Lincoln (okay, just kidding about that one!)

Gina Gershon - can't see her playing silly and vapid so well.

anyway.
