Newspaper preservation question(s) |
|
Like many others, I saved Wednesday's newspapers with the intent of preserving history. What are the best preservation techniques for newspapers? I was considering having them mounted and framed, but is that a good idea? And if so, where is the best place to have such a thing done—a regular frame shop, or someplace that specializes in newspaper preservation?
Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

1. Wrap your paper(s) in an acid free tissue paper |

I am going to seal mine in a vacuum sealed bag.

History Buff our local paper printed this when it was clear that people would be saving the headlines. ellen fl
