Neither Sarah Palin or Joe Lieberman will ever be President of the United States |

So why the fuck is GDP filled with threads about two of the most useless carbon units on the planet?

7. Actually no, it's not a "good one". Palin isn't the subject of the OP, the idiocy of DU is. |

11. Then why remain? You are generally peeved about the discussion du jour, in my experience. |
|
Surely you could start your own forum?

I'd be rich.
And I wish I had an answer to your question. You'd think everyone would want to talk about Obama and Biden.

6. uh . . . and how do you know that |
|
palin still has millions of supporters.
The main complaint against her during the election was her lack of experience. So if she gets 4 years of that . . . .

8. Everytime she opens her mouth, she sounds more stupid than the previous time |
|
Chimpy could get away with that because his family has dominated the Republican party since World War II. But there ain't no "Palin Crime Family" waiting in the wings to take over the GOP.

Plus the repub loyal will line up behind whoever brings in the votes.
Plus she loves war - which lines up well with the neocons.
Plus she has already started her campaign - we will see it for the next 4 years.
Those on the right do not see her the same way we do. If they did, mccain would never have come as close to Obama as he did.
on edit - let me add. I have a BIL who claimed to be undecided until the election was close. He voted for mccain because he felt she received such unfair treatment by the media. All this palin-bashing feels good. But it can work against our cause.

14. Not in recent history anyway. |
|
Bob Dole made it as far as the Repuke nomination in 1996, after losing as Ford's #2 20 years earlier. Lieberdouche himself (though actually a successful VP candidate, if not for the Florida theft) only made it as far as Round 1 in the 2004 primaries

I wouldn't count Palin out. Remember when everyone thought that Nixon was finished when he lost two straight elections (1960 and 1962)?
