Weeeeeee! Stocks back in positive territory.....

I'm getting a nose-bleed.

Don't worry though.... Bush speaks on the economy in less than an hour..... Get ready for that "sinking" feeling....

I think what's happening is you have some people pumping money into the system to try to save it 'cause they know when Frat Boy Dumb opens his mouth, it's gonna tank hard.

If they could just put him in a closet and keep him there until after the bell...

9. FWIW, my business is up substantially since the election. Today
has already been very good, and it's not noon yet.

Everybody here is much more optimistic now that the GROWNUPS are gonna be running things again soon. I just had a brand new client come in from a VERY expensive neighborhood, and even she is all raves over Obama. The Republicans totally lost their moneyed base with this 8-year fiasco.

14. I'm a veterinarian. I have a cat hospital. I think, like in the last recession,
people are out of work and have no money to run all over kingdom come shopping and spending, so they sit at home and can't help but notice that: ZOMG, THE CAT'S SICK; I BETTER GO TO THE VET RIGHT NOW!!!!!

16. I'm glad to hear that.
I work with a group of volunteers that do cat rescues. We have been seeing many more abandoned cats. Last week I adopted a kitten that was left on the street a couple of months ago. She'd been in the local animal shelter and was in danger of being euthanized.

Of course I took her to my vet and started her on her shots and exams. So the vet made some money off me and the kitty has a good home. Win win. I just wish she'd come down off the shelf in the bathroom.

12. What the hell happened?

Just before lunch, the DOW was flat, Bush was starting to speak, and it dropped 50 points.

I come back, and it's up 400.

:wtf:

13. SOMETHING happened at 1:00
There has to be some reason for an 800-point rally. I just can't figure out what it is.
