1. I really hope that's wrong.
I'd prefer someone with actual foreign policy experience for this job.

3. While I don't think it's necessarily a good move for HRC,
If your President asks you to serve, you serve.

10. Um, no.........you don't HAVE to do so.
A lot of people have turned down such presidential requests. And this is a horrible choice and extremely disappointing. Here's hoping it's either wrong or she doesn't accept it.

4. No, no, NO, damnit!
NO, that is a terrible choice. Al Gore would be more than perfectly suited and he has more than earned it. NO AGAIN to HRC as SOS.

15. Why is that? Because she has no
real foreign policy experience of her own (things that Bill did are things that BILL did as president, not her)? Because she's cheerfully voted for every single Iraq war funding bill put before her and never once even acknowledged that her IWR vote was a mistake and the whole thing was based on trumped-up lies? Please.

You're certainly allowed your opinion, but then, so am I. I'm feeling generous today, so you can have your Kleenex back. Unused.

in the senate.

21. And he has long since come to publicly
recognize and acknowledge that he was snookered and he was wrong, and apologized for it. HRC has done no such thing and shows no indication whatsoever of doing any such thing any time soon.

6. That's fine.
I think she could do a competent job working for Obama in that capacity. Honestly though I can't see why she'd do that. From a policy perspective, she'd lose clout.

7. I think it is brilliant. Plus they get two for the price of one. Bill Clinton would
be great as a pillow talker to the new SOS.

So she accepts and then Obama offers it to Richardson.

28. Bad idea.
The world she would be trying to gain the confidence and trust of knows she voted for the IWR which led to many thousands of unnecessary deaths and lost limbs, millions of terrorized and displaced Iraqis, and she has refused to apologize for it. Husband Bill was for it. My hunch is that Bill and Hillary privately advised Tony Blair to get on board which only exacerbated the situation.

While ostensibly carrying out Obama's foreign policy, the Clintons' boundless ambition would likely kick in and prompt them to go their own self-serving way. Obama would need to watch them constantly like small children to ensure they are not plotting their own bright future at his expense.

Clinton = endless distractions.
