Ned Lamont for Federal Communications Chairman !
If you look at his extensive background in telecommunications and cable tv, etc.. it makes sense!!

And whoever becomes chairman eventually appoints two commissioners..

Whatchoo' say about Lamont?

It would be a great job until Lieberdick finally comes up again for re-election.

1. Love him.
I think Obama likes him too. If memory serves, he made an appearance or two for Lamont when Lamont was the DEM candidate for US Senate against the non-DEM Lieberman.

Raising a few eyebrows in the process. Mainly from Hillary-types, who limited themselves to grudging endorsements of Lamont while privately pulling for Lieberman.

5. Very good qualifications although, I also like Lawrence Lessig
for the job, may be too controversial for industry-types some though.

7. Ned Lamont is a good person. I was one of his lowly volunteers but
both he and Annie were big Planned Parenthood of CT supporters when I was its major gifts officer there. They did some heavy duty fundraising for PPC, and I can personally attest to their devotion to reproductive choice and access to reproductive health care.
