... then we can get him out of the Senate and get someone like John Hickenlooper (the awesome, progressive, geologist-turned-microbrewer-turned-mayor-of-Denver) in that seat.

Given how blue Colorado has quickly become and given that the state just elected the progressive Mark Udall to the other seat, I wish we could get a more progressive (and all around more impressive) senator than Salazar.

Note: I'm not into purity contests, but it just seems like Salazar is way more conservative that he needs to be for the state -- nor has he really distinguished himself in other ways that could compensate for being more ideologically centrist.

1. I agree
I live in Denver and would be glad to have a real progressive replace Salazar.

DeGette would be a possibility.

2. Yeah, his support of Lieberman is only the lastest thing he did that pisses me off.
I'm getting fed up with Ken Nighthorse Salazar.

4. Me too. Almost as much as traitor Campbell. So Nighthorse Salazar
is a really good name for him. I had such high hopes, too. Oh well.

3. I'll all for that. He's been pretty useless as far as I'm concerned.
And he even wants Lieberman to keep his chairmanship. Yuk.

5. Here in Denver, he remains very popular.
He's a centrist, and his profile reflects the majority of the public in Colorado, at least at this point.
