Thank you for standing up for the spirit of true journalism this week. I know you have and will continue to be attacked by the Karl Rove smear machine for your story on George W Bush's millitary record. Please do not back off of this and let it go. The president needs to account for his actions and not be let off the hook. I hope Dan and CBS understand that there is a huge chunk of the population yearning for good old fashioned investigative journalism and a media with integrity. CBS has gone a long way to winning over that chunk of the population this week.

I want to thank you for offering a glimmer of hope for our country -- what will be without a vibrant, questioning media?

Please dont let the right cow you with "Bush bashing" hurled arbitrarily. They (the Republicans) control all three branches of the Federal Government and much of the state Governments as well. To insist that they be above scrutiny is destructive and could undercut our very existence.

I still think if the media (collectively) had done its job even minimally, we would not be in Iraq today, ssquandering our childrens' lives and futures.

Thank you, once again. What you are doing in the current climate is nothing short of heroic.

I don't think liberals and demcorats have a place in this country. they want us out. We should just pack and move away. Maybe to the old world or the new world;i.e, Ausralia and New Zealand.
