14. I consider my self a laissez faire capitalist meaning everyone can reasonably drive where they want.
But how they want? There must be rules--everyone can't drive without traffic lights, speed limits, or any other rules of the road. We must believe that capitalism is a good/great system. Just like it is good to be able to go anywhere we want it is good to be able to innovate, build and keep the bounty we create in creating bounty for others. But we must have traffic rules.

As far as capitalism--Kudlow on CNBC will say there is no better system to create wealth. And that may well be. But there are other values in life. My progressive nature intends to make sure those other values are given equal value in my country.

I kinda' consider myself a European progressive about 70% (maybe 65%) and then there is another 30% that I've seen in Europe where I think we are way the hell ahead of them (consideration for handicapped is one we are way ahead of europeans on).

But I don't want to destroy capitalism, I want to polish it with values it is inherently missing.
