This Thanksgiving is a little more special |
|
for Democrats.
I don't usually get too overly excited over certain holidays. The best part for me is getting all the family together. This Thanksgiving, though, we really do have something extra to be thankful for, especially if you're a Democrat. Just think about it....
We've got a great man, a Democrat, Barack Obama, we can be thankful for
We've got 8 years of positive CHANGE to look forward to that we can be thankful for
We can be thankful that the world is already starting to view us in a more positive light, and it will only get better after Obama restores the dignity and respect to the United States that Bush has taken away
We've got NO MORE BUSH in the upcoming 8 years that we can be thankful for
We can be thankful that we'll have no more broken remotes or holes in the wall that need fixing every time the Bush shows his face on our TV screens.
Oh, and last but not least, we can all be thankful that we've still got the brainless wonder, Sarah Palin, to keep us entertained for what looks like at least the next few years.
Yup, lots of extra things to be thankful for if you're a Democrat.

1. yay! good assessment, mtnsnake! |
|
We all deserve a nice holiday.
We were saying here how the market seems to react positively when Obama speaks. So that's a cool thing- folks are looking forward to a sane and thoughtful hand on the tiller.

|

13. Seriously, you need help |
|
Consider a shrink for your very unhealthy obsession with all things Clinton. You just linked to your own thread on a thread that is supposed to be about how many things we have to be thankful for. Your dumping on it is just more evidence that you are unhinged.

to light. It is the best Thanksgiving ever in my life. I'm flying to Portland, Ore on Thanksgiving Day at the invitation of my daughter and her fam. My son and his wifey are going to be there from Kaua'i, too. We're all celebrating the Global Victory:fistbump::patriot::party::kick:

to be thankful for.....
Yesterday, I was out and about, and in a slightly fearful space because I am currently unemployed and jobs are slim... when someone said...there's so much to be thankful for this year..
really helped change my frame of mind...
survived life threatening heart attack in March...thankful, check! completed my Masters Degree in November....thankful, check! have $ for fine Thanksgiving dinner to share with loving family...thankful, check! the person I worked for is President-elect...thankful, check!
It helps to keep things into perspective.
