20. Well O.K., I'll Think About It
I've never got A DUzy, not creative enough. You're right on the sarcastic effect thing; but actually I posted this thread because I saw some bad vibes going on in your thread, and to be 100% honest with you, I am tired of seeing that on DU. So yes, the sarcasm, but with the hopes that people will lighten up and try (as best they can) to go in a more positve direction here.

and you'll get tepid

I'm just fooling around but I suppose there's truth in levity

passion is a good thing... a crisp, well defined message requires context, and a moral frame of reference

Such a message can be viewed as hostility, by those with opposing beliefs... but those that would stifle passion, shame opposition into silence and attack wildly without solid justification... asserting that they are "responding in kind," are most often, disingenous

I just don't believe them... I might even AGREE with them... but their method is a pain in the ass

As an example... I'm not opposed to Clinton as SoS, necessarily... but her biggest boosters here are like flipping "brownshirts."

Excuse me, I have to hide the children in the attic now... brb

on edit: never post before the second cup of coffee in the morning

and, this is my 420th post with this handle... I haven't had a joint in 21 years this Monday

Maybe it's break time

26. When was that?
Ever since I joined this board it has been a Clinton bash fest 24/7. I saw many good posters being banned or leaving on their own due to the sheer nastiness of some people.

If some of you wanted an exclusive Obama support group, then you should have formed your own. As long as the word "Democratic" appears on the title, I would expect ALL Democrats to be welcome. If I'm wrong, then Skinner or a moderator can correct me of that assumption.

56. Yeah,
The primaries for some reason brought out a lot of irrational Hillary hatred. Before then, she wasn't loved here, but you didn't hear the bullshit, right-wing talking points that you come across now. I was an Obama fan from the get go and ,in the heat of battle, said some stuff I regret, but I never stooped to using the Rush Limbaugh talking points that many Clinton haters here used.

There are three posters specifically that I think should be banned because they spread nothing but anti-Clinton bullshit. It's a shame they're still here.

59. I agree.
I don't get the irrational Clinton hatred (for both of them). It's also undeserved, Hillary is a terrific person. People don't know her and cast her in some evil role that only exists in their minds. Oh well, I think that sooner or later they are going to be disappointed in Obama too. Their policies were very similar, even though I think that her economic and healthcare plans were better. Obama is not as LW as some people here seem to think.
