A deal with Bill Clinton over his post-White House work helped clear the way for Hillary Rodham Clinton to join President-elect Barack Obama's national security team as secretary of state, reshaping a once-bitter rivalry into a high-profile strategic and diplomatic union.

Obama was to be joined by the New York senator at a Chicago news conference Monday, Democratic officials said, where he also planned to announce that Defense Secretary Robert Gates would remain in his job for a year or more and that retired Marine General James M. Jones would serve as national security adviser.

I'm thrilled this has all been settled and we can move on to other agendas, now. Clinton will either do fabulous, or she'll get us into a few more wars that are not wars our corporate masters want us to be in.

I'm particularly interested to see what Obama's agriculture policies and picks will be.

2. Oh, I'm Sure
I guess I'd be curious to see whether there will be more conservationists, or more business interests looking to take advantage of climate change (a la northwest passage).

6. I want to see true blue liberals who have been fighting on behalf of...
...the environment for decades.

(I wasn't kidding ~ it's the issue I've worked on all my life.)

Actually, it's not all that funny.

:nuke:

Plus, really... nothing is settled til Obama makes an announcement. All I've hear about so far is "leaks", with no sources mentioned AT ALL.

4. I'd Say It's Accurate
You don't really think Bush dreamed up Iraq on his own, do you?
