I think I will spend tomorrow over at theuptake.org watching Al Franken pull away from Coleman. Even though watching that Canvassing Board agonize over each challenged ballot is sort of like watching paint dry it will be preferable to the total obsession exhibited here over this asshole Warren.

Yeah, Obama fucked it up good! Yeah, it's forken insulting as hell to a lot of his supporters. And, well, I guess if you can get Obama to change his mind about it then it will be worth it, but shit, I can't stand anymore so I am going to hide out until it's over.

to get things done. People who are trying to correct wrongs sometimes have to gain the confidence of their opponents in order to achieve their trust and support. Look at Colin Powell. Eight years ago, an 'Don't ask, don't tell'-lovin' asshole. Today he supports openness. Things do change and they will change. But you have to try to have more patience. Rick Warren gives me the creeps too. It also makes me sick that that pompous bigot will give the invocation at Obama's inauguration. But I also understand what Obama is attempting to do.
