I just don't understand democratic leaders suicidal tendencies in pissing of the GLBT block of the party after every single major victory, why do they keep promising what they won't deliver, why don't they just tell THE TRUTH ALREADY?

Maybe I'm wrong and Obama is going to make a stand on DADT and DOMA, but given he doesn't seem to be worried enough about the GLBT people to not let a damn bigot preacher speak I somewhat doubt it.

EDIT: For those who don't know Malcom smith is the head of the democratic caucus in the new york senate, when some democrats tried to make no Law allowing Gay marriage part of a deal to bring the democratic party in control of the senate he said No dice.

1. 'promising what they won't deliver'? Are you aware Obama has been consistently against gay marriage?

2. This isn't even about Gay Marriage

Someone who claims to be a supporter of GLBT rights shouldn't be inviting someone comparing homosexuales to pedophiles to give a blessing at his inauguration. It seems pretty clear cut to me, Obama seems to think there is shade of grey on this asshole's bigotry.

Also, Obama DID come out against PROP 8.

4. Make it broader. He doesn't seem too supportive of females either.
Bow down to your man. No reproductive rights. Weaker species.. He's a bigot. He's a hater. He's a charlatan who's 15mins are up.

3. AND you know its not just about gay people.. Warren seems to think
women need to be controlled and are weak. He's at odds with over 50% of America.. that's NOT inclusive, that's divisive.
