Edited on Sat Dec-20-08 09:24 AM by BrentTaylor
In his weekly radio address, President-elect Obama named his top science and technology advisors, including Dr. John Holdren, a Harvard University professor, as assistant to the President for Science and Technology and Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and Nobel Prize winner Harold Varmus as a co-chair of the Council of Advisors on Science and Technology.
Also named Jane Lubchenco to lead the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, which oversees ocean and atmospheric studies and does much of the government's research on global warming.

1. O's appointments have been nothing short of astounding to me. I think |
|
that the stark, even shocking contrast to the corrupt cronyism that has infected the white house and executive offices for the last 8 years is too much for me to bear. My mind reels at the waste, greed and ignorance that the criminal busH administration has visited upon the world over the past 8 years.
