Warren’s church removes anti-gay statements from website.»

On Friday, AmericaBlog’s John Aravosis pointed out that the website for Rev. Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church explicitly said that “someone unwilling to repent for their homosexual lifestyle would not be accepted as a member at Saddleback”:

Today, however, Aravosis notes that the anti-gay language has been pulled from the website. View a Google cache of the original page here.

1. Here's the screen capture you wanted to include in your post.
It reads,

"...someone unwilling to repent of their homosexual lifestyle would not be accepted at a member at Saddleback Church..."

Note the freeperesque misspelled word.

5. "That does not mean they cannot attend church - we hope they do!"
Note the striking absence of "Saddleback" in that sentence. What they really mean is "That does not mean they cannot attend church - we hope they do - just not OUR church!"

6. I missed that...good catch.
Fuckers...but then pretty typical of that kind of "church".

I attend UU when I attend, anyone welcome, even Rick Warren.

In fact, he could really use some Unitarian insight.
