"Bush will Save Us from Obama!!" - The latest "birther" rant
Hows this for batshit crazy?

http://english.pravda.ru/opinion/columnists/24-12-2008/106866-Obama_Hope_World-0

This is from Mark S. McGrew, writing on Pravda's website. (He claims that Pravda is more free than the US press, which is in the tank for Obama). Claiming that "It is impossible for Barry Obama to assume the position of President of the United States. It is against the Rights of man, throughout the World, throughout history.", McGrew holds out the hope that Bush will come save them...

"The current President of the United States of America has the opportunity to leave his legacy as the President who preserved the United States of America and its Constitution. All he has to do is to walk out onto the steps of the White House and announce, “If the United States House and Senate, if the US Supreme Court, Federal and State Courts from coast to coast will not respect their sworn duty to uphold and protect our Constitution, I will. By a Presidential Executive Order, signed by me today, Barack Hussein Obama, or whatever his name is, is formally and legally prohibited from becoming the President of The United States. Effective immediately”. That would end all controversy and destroy all threats to the US Constitution."

He's not the only one. Wingbat dentist/lawyer Dr. Orly Taitz also recently demanded her followers write Bust and demand something simular:

http://drorly.blogspot.com/2008/12/idea-for-presidents-executive-order-in.html

"1. Writing to President Bush and Vice President Chaney and demanding an executive order, deeming Obama ineligible for presidency, due to the fact that his father was a foreigner."

Hope springs eternal in the paranoid delusional world of the "Birthers".......

Isn't that alone Conspiracy to Commit Treason?

Aren't they asking Bush and Cheney to stage (another) coup?

Apparently, this dentist practices in Orange County, CA, and is a right-wing dreg of society that left the Soviet Union so she could pollute this country instead.

35. Oooooh, yeah....
I find it funny / sad that the two "birthers" that want Bush to issue such an executive order are a dentist/lawyer who immigrated from the former Soviet Union, and a "Real American" who's writing for Pravda and boasting about how free the Russian press is compared to the United States.

And these are two of the people the freepers are holding up as patriots.

Somedays, the satire writes itself.

Don't these fucking morons have any clue how our constitutional democratic republic operates?

Not only would Bush never attempt to pull something so utterly ridiculous (even Bush isn't as STUPID as these fools), he has no consitutional authority in the matter!

32. *snork*
According to some of these creeps, Obama being an "invalid candidate" invalidates the entire ticket. They claim that the electors would be forced to give their votes to McCain/Palin as a result. (actually some of them also think McCain is invalid as well, and call for the house and senate to choose the president and VP)

34. Yep.....
They already have petitions and oaths that they won't obey any laws or orders by the "usurper" or the "illegitimate US government". And Dr. Orly's fellow attorney in Alan Keyes lawsuit, the aptly named Gary Kreep, has already said he will challenge everything Obama does as president on the grounds that he's not the real president.

Right now they're still holding out hope that either the Supreme Court will stop Obama from being president, Bush will sign an executive order prohibiting Obama from being president, or that one Representative and one Senator will challenge the certification of the electoral votes. They're claiming that Sen. Inhofe of Oklahoma and Rep. Linder of Georgia will be spearheading this effort, and have videos like this out:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APOA5WSUDmE

Ironically, Berg's lawsuit goes to Conference with SCOTUS on the 16th, meaning it's likely to be denied ON the 20th. I suspect they will go completely off the railings after the 20th and go further into conspiracy land.
