Edited on Wed Dec-24-08 05:35 PM by NYC_SKP
It's in taters!!11!!!

Seriously, this is what I'm hearing on whacky am radio.

Usually, one administration blames the past president for problems of the present.

This is the first time I've heard the present problems blamed on the future president!

7. The original tater thread, back in October...
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x7616412#7616471

The OP links the freeper thread containing the freeper herein quoted:

"So we face, as a country, an uncertain future.

With the economy in taters, and the troubling divide among our countrymen and those wishing to see the downfall of this nation, the future is grey but is a time for all Americans to stand together as one..."

11. Today, I found another good one: "brianwashed"
"Well let me ask this, why would Minnesota, a heartland state, even vote so that the election was close. Does that tell you something? No hope. Brianwashed."

3. Yeah
I expect it will be about four years before the Bush Economic Miracle kicks in.

I remember the Jimmy Carter Stockmarket crash in 1987. And then the Carter recession of 1991. Fortunately this was followed by the Reagan-Bush prosperity years 1992-2000.

Wingnuts. You gotta... (no, you don't). The best reason for electing a Democrat from time to time is that you have someone to blame when things go wrong during a repub presidency.

10. Yeah, and from the same mouthbreathing mouths:
We have to continue these tax breaks to lift the economy.

ARRRRRGGHHH!

Eight years of this approach. Our economy is in taters.

Cause and effect, it is NOT working!!!!

:banghead:

But for now, given the season,

Some systems have long memories

"They call me tater salad."

Society needs an equally long memory.

Edited on Wed Dec-24-08 07:00 PM by Puzzler
... just goes to show how any debate with them is 100% useless. After all, it's one thing to rewrite history, quite another to blame the past, and present economic woes on a president who has YET to take office.

25. Just remember...
8 months into the Bush admin, 9/11 was Clinton's fault. Bush and the repugs are always innocent...duh!

:sarcasm:

I've never understood the logic of that and I always told people that I would remember their claims about Clinton culpability when they wanted to blame the democrat who followed the shrub.
