X-mas just happened here, and I want to share.

My dear sweet husband got me a tv to put above my 'puter so I can watch the news and 'chat' about it vs. having to turn around or leave the room. That was so very sweet.

BUT! My favorite gift is this: historic and I adore it! I never knew I'd love a toy. I sent him a link that someone on DU posted, and he got me this.

His 'pots and pans' X-mas sucked, but he has more that redeemed himself.







And 'Hail to the chief' is the song. Collectors item, I'm thinking.

There is a store on the east coast that should have more in a week or two, it's called America! Store. They are mainly an airport store. I was the one who initially posted the link to your site here on DU (I think?). I was lucky in that I got my order in before the 16th of December; my Barack-in-the box arrived on Xmas Eve Day!

I bought it for my daughter, who is 20 years old and cast her first presidential vote last November. I had nine people at Xmas dinner, and they all enjoyed it so much.
