Anderson grew up in the super-rich bubble.. He's a nice enough guy, but was seriously sheltered growing up and his perspectives have to be weighed through that prism..He spent the whole night watching Kathy as if he expected her to explode at any second. She spent the whole night scaring him..

I think it's the funniest pairing I've seen in years..

Because her humor is all snarky gossip about celebrities, something gay men in particular enjoy. Kathy says she's been a "fag-hag" all her life, and just naturally does humor that appeals to gays and women. Of course she has some straight guy fans, but a lot of them can't relate to her humor.

Anderson Cooper is relatively boring, but Kathy Griffin is hilarious and one of the most off-the-cuff, quick witted persons out there. I love her show on Bravo. I hope some video clips start showing up here.

when, after they went to the British CNN guy in London (who seemed very drunk or high...was he the one that was arrested?), Anderson tried to move on, and Kathy said "Ok, am I supposed to pretend that didn't happen? I'm only human." And she asked Wolf Blitzer how many monitors there were in the Situation Room, and asked Anderson if he still talked to Glen Beck.

I think they go together. I love the way she get him laughing when he doesn't want to do it. I love the way out way Kathy is. I guess that is why they are good together. He is so serious and she is a joker. Only time I changed the channel is when they had the music groups playing. I didn't like any of them. Only music was great was after the ball came down.

they actually work well together. Cooper has made fun of people in similar ways to the way Griffin does such as Paris Hilton . so i think they have similar humor. and i bet in private Kathy refers to him as one of his gays and he has no problem with it.

but she does make him nervous when they are on air and it's fun to watch.
