Employment non-discrimination of gays seems to have majority support and enough Republican support to clear cloture in the Senate. Signing this law would go a long way to making up for having Rick Warren at the inauguration.

3. Of the big three I think this is our best shot
It is easier to attach to a non filibusterable bill and we should have the votes we need for a majority no matter who gets seated in MN. My odds about 50/50.

4. The odds are zero!
The magic # of 60 has been a sham from the beginning. Nothing that is considered pro-gay will get passed, and next to nothing that is progressive will happen either.

5. Pretty low...
For two reasons: One, I don't think there is the political will to get it passed at this point, and what political leverage Obama has will likely be used to restart the economy - a position with which I agree. Two, the LGBT movement organizations remain divided on whether ENDA has to be transgender-inclusive. Most organizations seem to support ONLY a trans-inclusive version, but HRC and some other party affiliated groups are willing to trash our trans brothers and sisters for political expediency. So, infighting will like prevent a unified front.

6. ENDA's full of loopholes for religious groups
It's not actual full equality (marriage issue and DADT aside.) Better than nothing of course, but it is irritating that discrimination against gays won't just be outright illegal, no exceptions, which is what the 1964 Civil Rights Act guarantees for all other minorities.
