Did Matt "Turd" Lauer have any of the SwiftBoat Liars for Bush on? |
|
Did O'Neill or any of them get on the Today show? If so, how did he treat them? In comparison to his treatment of Michael Moore and Kitty Kelley.
Thanks for the info. I'm writing a letter to NBC.

2. I was wondering that myself |

and Googled "Matt Lauer Swift Boat." Only thing that came up was an interview Lauer did with Bush on 8/30, at the opening of the RNC convention. Did a search of MSNBC and didn't find anything there, either.

4. maybe he's just given the anti-Bush guests |
|
That way, he can appear "hard-hitting" with Moore and Kelley, and you're just left to assume he would be equally hard-hitting with the swifties, etc. If he actually interviewed them, he wouldn't be able to avoid showing his true colors, but with no interviews, he can't be nailed for his bias.

6. Welcome to DU; who is this "we" of which you speak? |

Kerry & Edwards speak every day & explain their positions. If you troubled yourself to pay attention, you would know this. Did you watch the Democratic convention? Unfortunately, the media would rather cover Bush's latest idiotic malapropisms.
The Kitty Kelley thing is an amusing little sideshow--"see Ma Bush bite the head off a chicken". NBC decided to devote three segments to her latest book--because it will sell. And Matt Lauer should have had a chance to try out his tuff guy act on the Swift Boat Vets.
One problem with the "Jack Kennedy generation" is that too many of them got their brains blown out. Where was George Bush Sr on November 11, 1963?
