Like him or not, George W. Bush's legendary incompetence laid the groundwork for Obama's election. |
|
Without Bush, there wouldn't be Obama IMHO.

1. Without Bush, we would have elected whoever was VP during Gore's second term. |
|
I would prefer to believe it would NOT be LIEberman.

11. So, the event scenario then might have been, Gore and LIEberman won in 2000 |
|
....we had no 911 because diplomacy would have ruled the foreign policy, peace and energy independence would have taken priority, economy would have remained on a solid growth path, deficits would have continued to decline as projected under William Jefferson Clinton, Gore would have taken a second term by a landslide, republicans would have been trashed in 2004 as the ticket would have brought Hillary on as the first woman VP, peace, harmony and prosperity for four more years and so the republicans would have gotten their act together and put up a real candidate against Hillary, perhaps even republican Senator Barack Obama, and......(fill in the rest of the scenario)

...if only we could erase the last eight years.
But you are right, and that's the only positive contribution that Bush has made to this country during his miserable Presidency.

Kerry too. At least now we have Obama and no Joe Loserman. Plus given what happened with Edwards...Biden is an awesome VP choice in comparison.

15. Ehhh....I'll skip Obama for now not to have such an utterly jacked up country |
|
He'd probably get in at some point in the future anyways. Too much of a talent.
Now, if this forever destroys the current incarnation of Republicanisim and ends trickle down as an actual theory of economics then it might barely be worth it.

If the SCOTUS weren't full of partisan assholes that is. Gore was infinitely better than Bush, and thousands of people would still be alive today that aren't alive now.
