New York Times Magazine Preview: 52 Photo Portraits of "Obama's People" (check it out!)
Edited on Wed Jan-14-09 06:37 PM by ClarkUSA
In December and January, the photographer Nadav Kander shot 52 portraits of Barack Obama’s top advisers, aides and members of his incoming administration. It's a must-see.

:fistbump:

2. Ellen Moran...
...is staring right through the back of my skull. It's freaking me out.

Emmanuel and McDonough looks like they really needs to get some sleep.

Messina, for some reason, is reminding me of Conan O'Brien.

6. Fantastic set of photos!
And I have to admit, my eyes get kind of wet looking through the collection of folks who will surround Obama. The innaguration can not come fast enough. I am beyond eager to have Bush and his cronies shown the door. Though some of Obama's appointments I disagree with, on balance it's an outstanding group of individuals. There are some amazing people that he's chosen.

23. Joe has that great smile. I loved Peter Orszag's too, so delightfully geeky
with the pocket protector and yet cute at the same time.

14. Some pretty goofy looking pictures in there I gotta say
Jack Reed looks really little. Steven Chu clearly was just not interested in posing for the camera haha.

What's with the stark background and harsh lighting?
