Economic question for Republican Morons:
Listening to some fucking clown on TV talking about how government borrowing cannot stimulate the economy.

His solution: A 5% across the board tax cut.

Question: How is that paid for?

I would guess government borrowing. But maybe I'm selling this dim-wit short... maybe he plans a simultaneous 5% across the board tax hike to pay for it.

1. Republican economics is entirely based on bankrupting the government

so that the corporations can rule unimpeded. They love tax cuts because they defund the system, that's all.

***edit***

You can't forget about funneling money to the wealthy, that's the other purpose of their entire economic view.

4. at a guess
a 5+% cut in all government provided services, excepting military related contract spending. Thats generally what they want to do. That or just end social security or public education.
