The "empty spectacle" crowd meets "perception equals reality"
Full circle

Frank Rich (on Colbert tonight) famously accurately captured the Bush/Cheney/Rove fiction machine
as the "empty spectacle"
The Mission Accomplished speech
The fake turkey
The fake teleconference with troops
The ad with the soldiers duplicated behind Bush
etc.

All while the medical safety net quietly crumbled
two wars were effectively lost
The Chicago School of Economics/Laffer Curve had its inevitable effect
a US city drawn
Millions forced out of their homes and apartments due to shell games played by the Masters of the Universe

Now we hear that Cheney has hurt his back "moving boxes"
So the last image of this misadministration will be cemented and unavoidable
AND captured forever in an actual real life depiction that can't be missed
