A double-spanked state in tatters - yee frickin' haw - the end of an error is here!
It was first the little things, George...

Tbe controversy about you and Dick being from the same state (he later "changed" residency)

The rumours about your DUIs and your obviously re-issued drivers license

The "What about Poland?" remark

The fact that you couldn't go into the 9/11 hearing unless NOT under oath and without Dick holding your hand

The election that had to be decided This Very Minute or else the sky would fall.

The Department of Faith Initiatives or whatever that contradiction of Church and State was called.

Your dissing of Helen Thomas, much more venerable that you.

Oh, goodness, there are so many to choose from...

Your switch from "Osama - dead or alive" to "ah, we really don't care"

Your claim that you're "the Decider"

Your illegal replacement of the National Archivist (who would normally be in charge of records for posterity)

Let's not forget the invasion of a sovereign nation of false pretenses

Your inability to hold a coherent press conference

Your inability to visit even one funeral for your counry's dead, but you'll do it for your cat (or whatever it was).

Your refusal to even discuss the costs of the Iraq war until your tax cut bill was passed. What country gives up revenues when they'll need it the most?

Oh, this is just a fraction of the smallest things. History, I suspect has always judged you.

To your credit, I supposed, you did succeed in uniting the country. Against you. You also succeed in waking America up from their political stupor. We won't take elections lightly again, at least in my lifetime, for that we hope. For this small part, I salute you.

Still, it was one hell of a price to pay for a change of direction.
