I just talked with the Secret Service

I just reported CNN for reporting (during an on air interview) HOW people were getting onto the Mall by circumventing security checkpoints. What a bunch of idiots! Might as well just give every nut case in the world a road map.

The individual I spoke with at SS was very nice, said she'd report it to the appropriate people and thanked me for calling.

Now I'm getting ready to e-mail CNN and tell them I've reported them for being so irresponsible. God, you just can't make this stuff up!

5. Update

Just e-mailed CNN, told them I'd reported the incident to SS in hopes they could find and close security breach. Also told them this was analogous to reporting troop movement/position during battle. Gave them my name and phone # in case they want to talk with me AFTER the SS is done with them!
I've never talked with the SS before, was impressed with the response I got from the local office here. I sure don't envy them the job they've got to do today. Those crowds are unbelievable!
