this morning to tell me her principal made an announcement this morning informing that teachers could turn on all the TVs so students could watch history. He couldn't resist starting the announcement with "Yes You Can!"... and he's a conservative republican in Oklahoma.

schools. Each one saw the inauguration in their classroom!
The 10 year old is writing an essay tonight on why President Obama inspires her. I know this because she just called to ask me some biographical details of his life.

Mine were out of school for a teacher workday holiday. I told my kids they HAD to watch the inauguration! :D They didn't mind. They were with me through this whole election and even caucused with me. They will forever remember this moment!

11. My sister is a teacher. Her school was going to show it to everyone by the kindergartners |

She had to beg for a TV and got it. She knew it was important for the kids and I don't think she wanted any pissed off parents.
