I think Obama purposely toned down the speech to match reality.. |
|
We are in a crisis situation -- likely headed for massive unemployment and perhaps a depression. Today we celebrate but tomorrow begins the sobering task of righting this nation and the world. It will not be easy.

I saw part of Bush speaking in Texas this evening. From what he said, and the tone he used, I think he knows.

9. Sociopaths don't like being criticized. |

I think perhaps for the first time today, Bush was finally made aware of just how deeply he is hated by the rest of the country.
His handlers kept him insulated- that's over, so now I would expect that the reality is sinking in.

10. Didn't Karl Rove fly back to Texas with Bush? |
|
Rove probably let him know what the words meant.

8. I agree. I think George was clueless... |

Obama made some tough comments about the Bush legacy. I especially liked the comment about not putting security ahead of ideals.

13. And putting away childish things, like his bike. |
|
I think Obama would have to spend twenty terms in office to rack up even a tenth of the Bush vacation time and his weekend bike riding retreats while the country burned to the ground.
No more ridiculous arguments about things that DON'T matter- not form our new President.
Don't you love being able to type "President," instead of pResident?

His task will be to help us figure out how to survive the result of the biggest economic scam in the history of the world.
He is no fool, that is for certain- he knows he has inherited the biggest crime scene in the history of the country.
It will take decades for the experts to unravel the mess perpetrated on the planet by the elite and their criminal enablers, many of them sitting in our congress and senate.
