Chuck Schumer from New York said today in an interview with CNN that president Obama is a "moderate activist" who will not necessarily be a “left-wing government.”

I understand that and I view Obama as a center-left politician, and believe he will be seen as one of our greatest Presidents in history, but why the need to bash the "left wing", whose members were typically opposed the Iraq war from the beginning and who want to prosecute torturers?

Beats me.
