The one negative thing tonight about President Obama just struck me as I watched the "balls"

As Barack and Michelle go from ball to ball, and listening to the televised commentary, it struck me, there is ONE negative thing tonight. After over a year of supporting Barack from the get go, from those snowy days here in Iowa, to the hottest of July days.. I now have to "share" President Obama with everyone else.

He is not just my President, but the President to everyone else in this country, including groups of the people I do not identify with. He is their President too.

President Obama is not just the President of the people of Democratic Underground, Salon, Huffington Post, Capital Hill Blue, he is the President of the whole lot of us.

I have to share now.

~sigh~ But in the end that is what I worked for. So I can't be too disappointed for too long.

While Joe Biden was commuting from Wilmington to DC, I spent several of those years commuting from Wilmington to Philadelphia.

The early crowd at the station lost a fellow commuter.

3. Isn't it wonderful that we finally have a president that is the

president for all Americans? I never felt that gwb was my president because it seemed that he was only the repukes president, or the corporations president, or the Evangelicals president. He was certainly not a uniter and I am so excited to see that President Obama will be a uniter. He already is!!!
