The latest Rove whine: "Mr. Obama's tendency to work late into the night will... pose problems."
Karl Rove is upset with President Obama because he's managing the White House differently than his old boss.

"It is rumored that as many as 160 people will be in the West Wing under Mr. Obama. Under President George W. Bush there were about 60. My old, modest-seized office has been carved into four cubicles. This reduces the space for ad hoc meetings in personal offices, where so much West Wing work once took place."

Also: "Mr. Obama's tendency to work late into the night will... pose problems."

2. Karl Rove is a waste of humanity.
This is what he's complaining about - that Obama is actually engaged in the work of the people as opposed to the do-bleeping-nothing asshat that occupied the White House for the last 8 years. What a blowhard.

3. So, "private", "closed door" meetings will be less common?
He He, sounds about right to me.

Also, having republicans over for cocktails after an important vote, that's a new one, too.

I love our new president!

4. Because the way Bush ran the WH and government was SO effective.
Rove feels the need to prove he is an idiot on a daily basis, I see.

work a couple hours then knock off for lunch and a couple hours of exercise and then call it a day like George W. He did a GREAT job, just ask FUX news.

WTF? I'm glad President Obama's work habits are different. The Bush administration didn't amount to shit. Actually, it was worse than shit and they've completely fucked up this planet. I hope karma bites him in his fat ass.

11. What the heck is up with the WSJ ?????
Karl Rove writes an article, John Yoo writes an article and Rush Limbaugh? (all accessible from the OP's linked page)

Who is that paper trying to appeal to with these turd-brains?

16. WSJ is a Rupert Murdoch vehicle now.
It is rapidly becoming an editorial joke.

Quoting a WSJ editorial will be equated with quoting the Moonie Times.

21. Rush's article is hilarious
It's the standard right wing "the Democrats are buying votes" crap. The guy evidently hasn't watched the results of the 2006 and 2008 elections yet.

23. Rove can't function in anything that's transparent and open
His Modus Operandi was to plan and implement the politics of destruction and slandering smear tactics to defeat the Democrats at any cost. He stopped being effective when he lost the 2006 elections and he's never been able to regain control since.

I hope that aside from being questioned in Congressional hearings all of the people who's lives he's ruined take him to Civil Court and sue the slandering turd out of him so the blossoms growing there dry up.

26. Did that 60 people include Jack Abramoff and Jeff Gannon?
"My old, modest-seized office has been carved into four cubicles. This reduces the space for ad hoc meetings"

That's going to make it harder to do all the things Rove always use to do like vote caging & outing CIA agents. You don't want all those pesky witnesses hanging around while you're doing your dirty work.

Or, he can come to Washington and complain about it to Rep Conyers. A truly sympathetic ear.

Anyway, Karl, thanks for your input.

37. Funny. Clinton worked late into the night and we had large budget surpluses
Bush didn't and he destroyed the economy.

I think I'll go with working as hard as one can, such as President Obama is doing, until things turn around.

It seemed to have worked in the past.
