Did anyone see that stammering Heritage Foundation guy just now on Hardball? |
|
The camera cut to Tweety and he was in stunned silence at how poor the guy's communication skills are. He was probably thinking, "Alright, which intern signed this guy up to appear on my show?" LOL.

1. He does seem to have an issue with stuttering, |
|
but I'm more concerned about his ideas. Bad, bad, bad.

|
SOME Of us aren't home at 5 or 7 and NEED our Tweety fix.

8. While good most of the time, MSNBC is a tight-ass cheap network... |
|
...they get programming like "Lockup", etc. on the cheap from their parent company. They need to be live 24/7 like Faux, because to have a real impact they need to be a stronger antithesis of Faux. Even a three-hour loop 24/7 would work. The important thing is 24/7. Weekends too. No lame crime stuff here. That's why we have TruTV and Nancy Grace.

5. Yeah I saw him. Geez. It is a well-known tell that a person that stammers quite frequently like |
|
that, often doesn't truly believe in the BS that they are spewing. It's almost as if he was making it up as he went along.
He kept saying that MORE deregulation, capital gains tax cuts, and in general, business tax cuts were needed. The dude's a doofus.
When Exxon-Mobil posted a $42 billion profit for 2008, what is more tax cuts going to get them? What will an extra billion or so in tax cuts do for them? Will they employ another 15,000 people with that? Will they stop announcing job cuts?
Not likely.

7. First, Sarah, the Beauty Contestant, then Joe the fake plumber, |
|
then the cock eyed guy, then the stammering guy.
I wonder who they will trot out next. The three legged tall guy on stilts or the Bearded Lady?

12. smarmy 'intellectual' prick is how i read him |
|
Edited on Sat Jan-31-09 10:04 AM by spanone
the 'intellectual' is his take on himself...he came off as 'i'm smart, you're stupid'....my reaction...go fuck yourself
he was basically saying that business should regulate itself....well, asshole, that's what we've had for eight years, and look where we are.

14. It can be a good career move |
|
for an academic: get a rightwing think tank job. Good money, very cushy, and the work you do does not have to meet the normal standards of academic peer review.
I've thought about it, from time to time--getting a job at AEI or some other place like that, and then writing a tell-all book called "They Really are just Pulling this Crap out of their Asses."
