8. While good most of the time, MSNBC is a tight-ass cheap network...

...they get programming like "Lockup", etc. on the cheap from their parent company. They need to be live 24/7 like Faux, because to have a real impact they need to be a stronger antithesis of Faux. that, often doesn't truly believe in the BS that they are spewing. It's almost as if he was making it up as he went along.

He kept saying that MORE deregulation, capital gains tax cuts, and in general, business tax cuts were needed. The dude's a doofus.

When Exxon-Mobil posted a $42 billion profit for 2008, what is more tax cuts going to get them? What will an extra billion or so in tax cuts do for them? Will they employ another 15,000 people with that? Will they stop announcing job cuts?

for an academic: get a rightwing think tank job. Good money, very cushy, and the work you do does not have to meet the normal standards of academic peer review.
