3. Some meaningless commentary during the Patriots game |
|
John Madden said "that's a flip-flop" and Michaels rejoined that they "were in the right state {Massachusetts} for that!"
Har de har har, right?
Don't give up your day job, Al. If you have one.

16. Last year, or the year before |
|
He was describing how a coach was attempting to hide the full extent of a player's injury in a press conference....he said the coach's evasion was "Clintonesque".
Not the most outrageous dig at Clinton, but it did annoy me when I was trying to enjoy a football game.

4. Franken just played Michaels' comment |
|
I hope Al Michaels gets a few thousand e-mails nailing him on this totally idiotic and inappropriate remark. Even if he'd disclosed his donation to *, it would have been out of line. Glad I'm not an MNF fan!

5. I can't recall what it was but they did it again this past monday. |
|
I can't believe I may have to boycott MNF again! (First time was when Boomer Esiason was on, he wouldn't effing shut up and I couldn't watch it w/o sound - ruined an entire season of MNF for me).

|
supposed to say anything about this. (paraphrasing) I wrote immediately to ABC to complain. If he isn't supposed to talk politically, then he needs NOT TO DO IT AT ALL instead of WHINING that he's been told to STFU

I'd like to look him up but I would guess he's a non-poltical type.

He's talked about Pleasanton, but I think he lives in one of the Danville/BlackHawk communities.

7. never in my 30+ years of watching football.. |
|
have I ever heard the term "flip-flop" used to describe a back and forth game. This shit was pre-meditated. Fuck Al Michaels, and FUCK YOU TOO, MADDEN!! I used to be a HUGE Raider fan as a kid, and Madden can just go to hell.

14. OK, but just to be fair |
|
I must admit I've used "flip flop" in my daily conversation much more lately (though not will any abstractions to Kerry) because it is just used so much right now.
