Bush is making us victims of 9/11 instead of survivors |
|
By constantly returning to 9/11 and forcing Americans to focus on it every day - too much reminding goes beyond reverance and becomes re-victimization. Bush would have us trapped in a rut, unable to go forward. Constantly limited and constrained by this event. We remember and honor the victims and their families. By I would think that they would not want their memories used to drag us down into the self-destruction of our liberties, our freedoms and our stature in the world.

2. Excellent point,Darby. |

Have you considered writing a LTTE of your local papers about this? It would be a good one!
You make a good point about bush* not wanting us to move forward. He wants us paralyzed with fear while he picks the national pocket for his cronies. He wants us stunned, shocked and awed. He definitely does not want us thinking for ourselves, we might decide he is not worthy of sitting in the Oval Office. ;)

Keeping people in fear is a "tactic". If Heil Bushler can keep people freaked out all the time, then he can push his perpetual war crap on the nation.................
I cannot say here what I really feel about * but I'll bet any of one you could fill in the blank. :grr:

4. He loves 9/11 as an excuse |
|
Kerry nailed it. He uses 9/11 as an excuse for all his failures.
It's dishonest, and yes, it keeps this country stuck in the worst kind of victim mode.
