Bush did have a huge crowd in Denver. I don't know about the 18k number, but it was a ton of people. However, you have to take into account the fact that John Elway was the one introducing him. In Colorado, you can bet more than half were there to see him, not Bush.

He should come back Saturday, 10/16. The Badgers are away and don't start till 4:30 that day, there will be few people working and no school. 50-70,000 (like we were hoping for before the rain) would not be out of the question. I know that building, and it can't hold more than 10-15,000, I don't think.

It's funny how the pollsters are arguing about whether to count "registered voters" or "likely voters". They're ignoring those that have never voted before yet are determined to help fire Bush.
