1. The Senate debate will be followed by a vote (scheduled for Mon.) on the proposed cuts.

What does that all mean? It means that there will be a cloture vote on the Collins-Nelson (NE) amendment at 5:30pm Monday, February 9. On Tuesday at 12:00 o’clock, the Senate will vote in relation to the Collins-Nelson (NE) Substitute amendment with a 60-vote threshold. If the amendment is agreed to, the Senate would proceed to passage of the bill.

new hypocritical whining about bi-partisan. All their amendments are being heard - it's just that around 60 people vote against all of them. It was good that they debated the issues - but Kyl was completely outclassed. As soon as Kerry appeared with glasses to read things, it was clear that Kay was in trouble.

3. JK kicked butt.
Republicans are so lame, they continue to look like the obstructionist morans they are.

Amazingly, MSNBC showed parts of Sen Kerry's floor speech today.

10. I think the Dems should just steamroll the Repigs, it is way past the time.
god, Republicans should be kicked out altogether, they even said something like they were going to be like the Taliban or something like that. These people are not well at all.
