Remind me again, which party was it that openly talked about a "permanent majority?" |
|
Let's see, they also wanted to use the "nuclear option" to allow filibusters to be halted by a simple majority vote...
And then they had that leader who almost got away with gerrymandering an entire state in order to make it nearly impossible for the opposition to win elections there...
And I'm pretty sure it was them who were fond of throwing around words like "traitor" and "un-American," as well as phrases like "You either stand with us or with the terrorists"...
This couldn't be the same party that's now lecturing our President about not being bipartisan, could it? 'Cause that totally wouldn't make any sense.

4. Karl Rove's ultimate goal - permanent Republican majority. |
|
He's worked for it his entire life. If anyone thinks he and his fellow assholes are going to give up now they'd be seriously mistaken. That's why they will do and say whatever's necessary to bring Obama down.
