Can Kerry get around the National Media?

I am reading that Kerry is rocking in his speeches. I have seen him rock a couple of times myself in person. The thing is, the national media is painting Kerry as weak and soft against Bush. But Kerry gets fairly good local press coverage. So, has Kerry found a way to circumvent the national media? What do you think?

1. Yep and that has been a complaint from some

he is refusing to adress the national media no more, and that may kill him... at least with talkng heads

2. that's what he has been doing for months , going to local media

and other ways to communicate his message. he KNOWS he can't depend on the big media especially the big media news whores.

3. Hopefully he's schmoozing them.

I heard a couple of times today that he's "not held a press conference in a month". Of course, they fail to also mention that Bush held something like 12 press conferences durings his entire term but now is the little darling of anyone with press *cough* credentials.

I don't know if he's circumventing, per se. But from what I understand, he's certainly getting the local coverage! That leaves an impression! :) :bounce:

4. The best way to get arround national media is phone banking &

precinct walking.
